I am sorry but i call BULLSHIT. I don't freakin care if you go ''for the children of the future'' BITCH FIRST LET THEM SAVE THE BILLIONS OF LIVES that were lost and worry about that shit later. There is no excuse to stopping them from trying to save the ENTIRE Velgearian race, i don't believe for a second that there is no other way than to stop them from reviving Velgearians to protect the future even if Monster reborn is involved (we literally saw in Sevens that Monster reborn's effects are NOT absolute). ANY other Yugioh protagonists would have saved the Velgearians and then stop the future but what does Yuga do ? Try to keep an entire race dead because for gods sake he can't communicate with any of the go rush crew for shit.

I was never huge on Yuga but i really have problems with how they handled him in season 2 thus far. In season 1 it was fine, they kept his identity mystery for a while but after that he helped the duel against the Lugh and dueled Damamu, he was not stealing too much spotlight from the main characters but was still an active participant. In season 2 ? He lost to Phaser and didn't do shit (his sevens world return episode was nice though) then he fuckin dipped for no reason, didn't do ANYTHING to help the people brainwashed by Kuaidul, didn't help against the initial fight against Kuaidul and while his help from the outside to lead the people to realize they are in a space time was nice and all it is just SO LESS. Almost all he does is fuckin dipping out and only returning for the final episodes before dipping again and now he is gonna stand in their way for such a stupid reason ? The writing crew went out of their way to include a MAIN PROTAGONIST and this is how they use him ? He doesn't even form much connection with the Go rush cast at all, such a freakin waste. THE LEAST HE CAN DO is to talk about his problems with the Go rush characters, they would have be MORE THAN WILLING to help him for anything ANY other time but he doesn't do that. He is always alone, always leaving and now he is standing in their way because even though he is supposed to be a genius he can't find a way but for some reason he cannot even ask for others' help to try find another way since he is too busy wasting his role in this show with not forming any meaningful connections

In any case, We never really know what’s going on in his head that’s for sure, Idea comes to his head and he just yeets off.
I do have issues with how Yuga’s being treated in GR but at least his characterization is consistent

Yeah he was always kinda like that though it is even more apparent in Go rush since he is no longer the main protagonist so we don't follow him and thus doesn't know what he is doing so he just leaves and does not show up for 80-90 percent of each arc which severely hurts his role in the show. He is obviously massively important to the overall plot but i just don't like how we only get crumps of him and even though so many people has complicated relationships with him he is just so cut off from rest of the Go rush characters that we don't get to have much actual interaction between him and others (most of it is him just explaining something) which to me kinda wastes the opportunity that he is here since we don't normally get to see a previous Protagonist being active in a sequel show.

As for Yuga vs Yudias yeah i think that is a duel that HAS to happen, we only ever had Jaden vs Yugi, such an opportunity like this simply cannot be allowed to be wasted. I would assume either Yuga might take over again from Yuamu next episode or they have their duel in the future. I would probably prefer the future if i have the chance cause i would not like their proper duel to be this clusterfuck of a different players going in and out. But if they are gonna have a duel in the future regardless then Yuga can still take over next episode anyway, i would like that cause yes the show really tries to tease a Yuga vs Yudias only to not give it to us

Ok, so they will use Monster Reborn to take control over the Rush Duels from Yuuga and then bring back the Velgearians? Otherwise, I am confused...

Also, this feels like it might be the last duel or something, and Yuuhi might win. But wasn't Yuudias the MC of this series?
